Bumble bees are among the most important pollinators and an essential part of our ecosystem. They are vitally important for pollinating hundreds of plant species, including many crops.
With sustainable design in mind, each bee is individually handmade by Esther who recycles silver off cuts by melting it down and repurposing it through a traditional technique known as sandcasting. Each strip of gold is then individually cut and fused to the silver through an ancient Korean technique known as ‘Keum-boo’ and finished with soft, brushed texture.
