Despite their bad reputation wasps are an essential part of a healthy ecosystem. Not only are they crucial for pest control, wasps are recognised as important pollinators.

With sustainable design in mind, this Wasp brooch pin is hand formed (not cast), to reduce the amount of unnecessary metal, whilst keeping carbon emissions at a minimum. Each strip of gold is individually cut and fused to the silver through an ancient Korean technique known as ‘Keum-boo’.
